Start at Ely Outfitting Company.
Drive east on Hwy 169 (becomes Fernberg Rd.) for 20.5 miles.
Turn left onto Snowbank Lake Rd (signs for Snowbank and Kekekabic Trails).
Go 4.8 miles, following signs to Public Lake Access. (Pass the Snowbank Trail parking lot.)
Turn left at sign for canoe access.
If you pass the canoe access, then the road dead ends in about 100 feet at motorboat launch and parking area.
